Communication is the basis of your home based business and of any business and of human life. So it is very important that you communicate perfectly with others. Here are some tips how you can communicate successful:

- If you are confident and enthusiastic you are attractive and appealing to others.
- Listen, ask and reflect. Value others.
- Pay attention to your own positive language and gestures. A smile is the quickest connection between two people!

- Be candid, sincere and authentic.
- Offer - don´t plead.
- Build and maintain relationships. Referral marketing is a relationship business, not only a business relationship!

Tips for "Sparking Interest"
- "Dialog is the key!" Ask questions and be interested in people. Find out the "Why"
- Listen carefully and make an offer: "I found a solution for myself. Would this be interesting to you?"
- Tell your own story as well as other stories.
- No detail without earnest interest. Curiosity motivates people.
- Tell everyone that you have found an opportunity that allows you to realize your dreams.
- Lend out tools (books, CDs, etc.).
- Invite them to neutral events and seminars.
"Why" These are the most common reasons why people start in referral marketing
- Additional income: Often € 300 more in a month are enough to come out of debt.
- Financial independence
- To be ones own boss
- More free time: more quality time for family and friends, more time for yourself and your hobbies
- Personal development: we finance our education by using products, personal development will help us in every part of our life.
- Helping others: that is the greatest feeling for me, when I see my friends become really happy in this business.
- Meeting new people: I never had more friends than now. In the time of internet more and more people become lonely. And this can´t happen in this business. The meetings of people is an fundament of this business.
- Provide for a pension
- Safeguard children´s education
- Health
So what is your "Why"?
There must be a "Why" because you read this.
So think of it: why will you work at least 10 hours more every week to start your own business?
Why will you talk to people?
Why will you meet someone?
Why will you join meetings and events of your company?
This is the first thing that must be clear when you want to start successfully.
Customers or Distributors
We often talk about what we should put more focus on: Getting more customers or more distributors. So I think the answer should be: both, customers and distributors.
The most important thing is always to find out, which problem can I solve for the person I am talking to. How can I really help him or her. If my product is a solution for this person, than I only offer the product. I am not telling this new customer that there is a business behind my product and that we can refinance it on reffering it to our friends until I know he or she is enthusiastic about my product.
To find this out I follow up just a week after the new customer has ordered. I ask if he or she got the product and give a few tipps for the use of it. And then after another week or two I call and hear if the customer is feeling well with it. If the new customer now is enthusiastic I can tell him something about the opportunity to refer this to his friends.
But if somebody we are talking to tells us problems with his job, about his lack of money or friends, his worry about retirement or the financial future of his children, than it is the right moment to attract a new distributor. I only ask if he or she will be interested if there is something that maybe can help. So I can talk about a solution specially for his or her problem. And the products will be consumed to get the solution.
When we do our business like this, we can find customers and distributors and there will be no really rejections. Even maybe our prospects are happy because we think about a solution for them if we let them the choice to say no and find another way to solve their problem.
